The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) and Governor Glenn Youngkin are leading an initiative to help students continue to recover learning opportunities lost during the pandemic.
The ALL In VA tutoring initiative will provide opportunities for Virginia students in Grades 3 through 8 to receive tutoring at no cost for math and English during the 2023-2024 school year. The goal of ALL In VA tutoring is learning acceleration. It is important that tutoring match grade level content and support students by bridging the gap between the student’s prior knowledge and the content they are learning in the classroom each day.
These free tutoring sessions will be provided before and after school and on select Saturdays. More specific information about the time and opportunities for tutoring will be shared in a follow-up letter from your child’s school soon.
All interested students in Grades 3 through 8 may participate in the ALL In VA tutoring.
