Combining for over 500 years of service to the children of Prince George County, nearly two dozen soon-to-be retirees were celebrated with hugs and some tears during the division's annual Royal Recognition Reception at Prince George High School.

Humphrey honored with Pathfinder Award in recognition of her commitment to connecting students to real-life experiences beyond the classroom; Barnwell named Spirit of Prince George Award recipient in honor of her selfless service to her students, staff, and community throughout over two decades in education in Prince George County.
