Due to the potential severe weather impacts forecasted for our area throughout the day tomorrow, Prince George County Public Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, March 16, 2026.
Employees, use CODE 5: No employees report to work, including essential personnel.
Additionally, Monday evening's scheduled winter student recognition event, scheduled for 6 p.m. at Prince George High School, and the Prince George County School Board's work session, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the County Admin. Building, have been postponed.
With the forecasts from local weather agencies calling for strong to severe thunderstorms that may bring extremely heavy rain, damaging winds, and the potential for tornadoes during the day and into afternoon dismissal range, it is important to make operational decisions in the best interest of our school community.
