CAMP LEGACY

We wanted to inform you all that the LEGACY application has been extended!!! We have openings in all age groups and are encouraging the students in Prince George County to apply to this wonderful and free camp that can lead to a potential career in STEM!



Attached to this email is the camp flyer and the link to the application can be found here. The camp flyer does not have the updated deadline, please disregard that date and go by the deadline that is stated in this email.



The dates for the camp are:



Virtual Camp Dates
Age 11 - June 21, 23, 25, 2021 (10:00-12:00 PM EST)
Age 12 - June 21, 23, 25, 2021 (1:00-3:00 PM EST)
Age 13 - June 28, 30, July 1, 2021 (10:00-12:00 PM EST)
Age 14 - June 28, 30, July 1, 2021 (10:00-12:00 PM EST)
Age 15 - June 28, 30, July 1, 2021 (1:00-3:00 PM EST)



Application Checklist
1. Recommendation
2. Proof of grades
Age 11, 12, 13: Provide last report card
Age 14+: Provide transcript (high school and college students)
MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION



PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE WITH THE APPLICATION CHECKLIST – IF YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO THE CAMP!!!!



The LEGACY application will now be open until Monday, May 24th at COB.



If you are trying to look at the application on a government computer or VPN there is a chance you may not be able to access the application. Be sure to be on a personal device to access the application.

Good Afternoon Moore Families,

Attached is the latest version of Moore Moments. In this edition, we have the Quarter 3 students, Choir tryout information, and the spring sports' schedule. Also attached to this email is the PG Messenger sent earlier today about the plans to return to school for next year. This email has time sensitive information for you to know. Next week starts Teacher Appreciation Week! Please take a moment or two to thank our teachers. As always, we appreciate your continued support!

Parents’ Guide to Standards of Learning (SOL) Testing

Please review the following SOL testing and parent refusal information on the attached file.
Parents/guardians wishing to exercise their right to refuse to allow their child to test must complete the online Parent Refusal Form by
April 20, 2021.D.

REFUSAL FOR COVID 19 AND REMOTE SOL TEST IS CLOSED. A PARENT MY STILL COMPLETE THE FORM AND SELECT: I SIMPLY REFUSE TO HAVE MY STUDENT TAKE THE SOL.
The following are the scheduled dates for SOL testing at JEJ MOORE :

FRIDAY MAY 7: ENGLISH 6 & 7 REMOTE TEST ( VIRTUAL STUDENT OPTION ONLY. PARENT MUST COMPLETE FORM WITH COVID REFUSAL FOR STUDENT TO ENTER THE BUILDING )
FRIDAY MAY 14: MATH 6 & 7 REMOTE TEST ( VIRTUAL STUDENT OPTION ONLY. PARENT MUST COMPLETE FORM WITH COVID REFUSAL TO ENTER BUILDING )
