7th Grade Teams

7th Grade at J.E.J. Moore Middle School

At J.E.J. Moore Middle School, our seventh-grade students are organized into academic teams that promote a sense of community, belonging, and support. Teaming helps teachers work collaboratively to meet student needs while providing students with a strong network of peers and educators throughout the school year.

Our seventh-grade teams are:

  • Hurricanes

  • Tidal Waves

  • Tornadoes

  • Volcanoes

  • Wildfires

Each team is committed to helping students continue their academic journey, develop important leadership and organizational skills, and prepare for future success in middle school and beyond.

Beyond their core academic coursework, students participate in a variety of exploratory classes that encourage creativity, introduce new concepts and experiences, and help them discover interests that may shape future academic and career goals.
