Fine Arts
The Fine Arts program at J.E.J. Moore Middle School provides students with opportunities to express their creativity, develop new talents, and build confidence through artistic exploration and performance. Through hands-on experiences in the visual and performing arts, students are encouraged to think creatively, collaborate with others, and discover new ways to communicate and share their ideas.
Students may participate in a variety of Fine Arts courses, including Art, Chorus, Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, and Theatre. These courses allow students to explore their interests while developing skills in creativity, performance, problem-solving, and self-expression.
In addition to supporting artistic growth, Fine Arts education helps students build discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and confidence—skills that benefit them both inside and outside the classroom. Whether creating artwork, performing on stage, singing with fellow students, or learning a musical instrument, students have opportunities to engage in meaningful experiences that enrich their educational journey.
