6th Grade Teams

Sixth Grade at J.E.J. Moore Middle School

At J.E.J. Moore Middle School, our sixth-grade students are organized into academic teams that help create a smaller, more connected learning environment within the school. Teaming allows students to build strong relationships with their teachers and classmates while providing additional opportunities for collaboration, communication, and support throughout the school year.

Our sixth-grade teams are:

  • Bobcats

  • Dolphins

  • Lions

  • Panthers

  • Penguins

  • Roadrunners

Each team is dedicated to helping students successfully transition to middle school while fostering academic growth, personal responsibility, and a positive school experience.

Beyond their core academic coursework, students participate in a variety of exploratory classes that encourage creativity, introduce new concepts and experiences, and help them discover interests that may shape future academic and career goals.
